Quincy, MA (August 4, 2014) TheLocker, lacrosse’s first social commerce community, and Brine, recognized industry leader and manufacturer in lacrosse, have teamed up with Rob Pannell, attackman for Team USA and the New York Lizards, to have one team learn the techniques of a professional athlete at their practice.

Lacrosse players across the nation have the unique opportunity to win a clinic taught by one of Major League Lacrosse’s top athletes, Rob Pannell, and as a bonus, 24 members of the winning team will receive a RP3 Brine lacrosse head and signed Rob Pannell poster. Up through September 1st, lacrosse athletes of all levels are able to enter their teams to this sweepstakes on TheLocker.com. Eligibility requirements include becoming a Locker member by creating a free profile, linking to your team, and getting a total of at least 12 teammates linked to your team on the site. All teams with 12 or more Locker members linked by the sweepstakes deadline will be entered. Additional contest details can be found at https://www.thelocker.com/rob-pannell-sweepstakes.

“TheLocker has created a truly unique experience like nothing else in the lacrosse industry – a social platform offering real time connectivity to everyone and everything lacrosse related,” said Cale Werder, Brand Manager for Brine Lacrosse. “TheLocker can bring our already tightly-knit community even closer together so it’s very fitting that one of their first acts is to deliver one of the World’s greatest, Rob Pannell, to a lucky team’s hometown and we are extremely excited to have a hand in the event.”

Rob Pannell, the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer, was the #1 pick of the 2012 Major League Lacrosse draft. In his 2013 rookie season, Pannell lead the league in points per game, scoring 42 points in 10 games, was named as the MLL Rookie of the Year, and was the only rookie named to the All Star team. In 2014 Pannell was named to Team USA competing in the 2014 World Games in Denver, Colorado. One team will have the special opportunity to learn what Pannell does best, and that’s putting points on the board. They will then be able to take what they’ve learned from Pannell and apply it to their own game with their brand new Brine RP3 heads.
